Frequently Asked Questions.

General

Do you accept insurance?

Due to the type services offered and the variabilities in insurance coverage, we do not accept insurance. All services offered in this office are cash pay and clients are responsible for the cost of services. Payment is expected at the time of service.

Labs are ordered by the clinic provider and all patients are sent to LabCorp for completion of the orders or they can use a lab of their choice (such as a primary care provider). Patients may pay for labs directly in the clinic for labs at our low office rate. If you choose to bill your insurance, you are responsible for any associated copays and you are responsible to ensure that our office receives your results in time for your next appointment or you may be rescheduled.

A simple EKG is available on site. If a more detailed evaluation is needed, we will send you to an outside lab.

We can provide an itemized bill for services completed onsite and you can take that to your insurance for possible reimbursement. This is not guaranteed and is the responsibility of the client. We can not negotiate your bill with insurance.

How can I schedule an appointment?

To schedule, please visit our booking page on the website here.

All bookings are done through the website - this allows for us to receive all pertinent information for your chart and allows you to select an appointment day & time that will work best for you. Also, if your appointment requires a deposit or you would like to pre-pay, the booking site allows for that completion. Appointments are not made over the phone. Thank you!

Do you offer payment plans?

At this time, we do not offer payment plans. However we do have many alternative offers regarding payment and pricing. For payment, you may pay with cash or card at the time of service (you may also pre-pay). If you have a Health Savings Account or Flex Spending Account, you may use this card (approval is subject to your Account’s approved purchase list).

We also offer monthly subscriptions for most services. These packages offer a variety of services at a discounted price. They do require an automatic monthly payment with a card on file, but can be cancelled at anytime after the initial enrollment period (discussed at time of enrollment) as long as the request is made in writing and made 15 days prior to the billing cycle date.

We accept HSA and Care Credit cards. All payments less than $200 are subject to regular terms. Payments of $200 or more are available for current promotions. All care credit transactions are subject to a 3% transaction fee.

Those interested may apply online or at their appointment, if they are not already a Care Credit Card member. Rejuvenate Muncie does not manage the terms and conditions of Care Credit Card but we will review the terms with you at the time of your purchase.

Do you offer event services?

Yes! We can provide the IV Hydration and Injection services at businesses, gyms, weddings, or your next party. Mobile services are considered on a case-by-case basis at this time depending on distance outside of Muncie, but we do offer it for all located within Muncie. There is price difference from the in-office pricing. Please contact us directly if you are interested in hiring Rejuvenate Muncie.

Do you require a deposit?

At this time, all consultations, aesthetics, and IV Hydration appointments require a $25 non-refundable, non-transferable deposit at the time of booking. All other appointments require a card on file at the time of booking but do not require payment until the appointment. If you need to reschedule, your deposit can be applied to the one-time rescheduled appointment date. This credit may only be used for another appointment of the same booking type (ex. Another consultation) and will expire 30 days from the cancellation date.

What is the late/cancellation policy and are there fees?

We do understand that emergencies happen. Depending on the type of appointment however, some treatments are very time-sensitive. Cancellations must be made no later than 12 hours prior to your appointment time. You are allotted a 10 minute late window; if you arrive late, we will have to reschedule your appointment and you will be charged a $20 rebooking fee. If you are a no-show for your appointment, you will be charged a flat rate of $50.

We value all of our clients, but continual tardiness affects the quality of service we provide to all clients. If you are habitually late (three late arrivals), you will no longer be able to book in advance. If you no-show any appointments, you will no longer be able to book in advance. Following your first no-show or your third late appointment, you will only be able to schedule same-day appointments if there is availability. If there is another occurrence after this point, you will be dismissed from the practice as a client.

Also, if the appointment deposit and/or any outstanding forms or clinic policies are not received at least 24 hours prior to your appointment, any upcoming appointments will be cancelled.

Do you offer discounts?

We routinely offer special discounts for all clients.

You can also check our website and social media sites for our Limited Promotions. At this time, promotions cannot be stacked and are not applied to Memberships with autopayment.

Do you accept same day appointments?

YES!

Our website will not allow same day booking, but any day the clinic is open we will accept same day appointments if there is availability. Please call us at 765-400-1800 to schedule.

Please reminder, the clinic is appointment only so walk-ins are not accepted and hours may be adjusted due to scheduling needs of the day.

IV Therapy & Injectables

What is IV therapy?

IV therapy is the process of administering vitamins and nutrients directly into the blood stream. This allows the nutrients to bypass the gastrointestinal system, significantly increasing absorption and bioavailability. In addition to these supplements, specific formulas may include medications for conditions such as pain management and hangover recovery.

Who is IV therapy for?

IV therapy is recommended for healthy individuals to increase overall wellness. At Rejuvenate Muncie, we do not replace your primary health care provider and recommend that you continue to see a primary provider for all of your maintenance and urgent health care needs.

We do not treat minors (anyone under the age of 18) or anyone who is currently pregnant or breastfeeding. Certain medical conditions involving the heart, liver, or kidneys can disqualify you from receiving therapy. Clients undergoing chemotherapy are also not eligible to receive IV therapy unless authorized by your oncologist. Your medical history and vital signs will be reviewed prior to beginning treatment.

Is IV therapy safe?

All nutrients used in IV therapy are FDA-approved and supplied through an approved compounding pharmacy. All IVs are regulated and administered by medically qualified staff.

What can I expect during the infusion?

Your visit will start with an assessment and history during the intake with the staff member. You will have vital signs completed and your history will be reviewed for eligibility. If you are considered eligible for therapy, you can then choose your infusion and begin the rejuvenation process which can take 30 to 90 minutes depending on the infusion type. This will include an IV stick. You can then relax throughout your infusion in our recliner while you Refresh & Rejuvenate.

What are the side effects of IV therapy?

Mild side effects can occur such as discomfort or bruising at the injection site. Allergic reactions are rare, but can also occur, and may include flushing, hives, itching, or trouble breathing.

How long does IV therapy take?

Infusions can take between 30 to 45 minutes to complete. There are a few infusions that may take 1-2 hours. We typically book your appointments for an hour to allow for time between visits for thorough cleaning and adequate set-up as well.

How frequently can I receive IV therapy?

Frequency is client specific, and a customized approach will be determined by the provider. However, in general, one to two IV treatments per month is more than sufficient for most.

Does it hurt?

You will be stuck with a needle for the IV infusion or injection. This can cause brief discomfort but should not cause consistent pain. During the IV therapy, only a plastic tube is left in the vein for the infusion. There is no needle left inside once the IV is placed.

Can I get an IV infusion and an injection on the same day?

Yes! You can combine any of our infusions and injections as long as you are within the required time windows.

How often can I receive an IV or injectable?

All injectables are available to clients on a weekly basis, monthly basis, or every 2 weeks and is determined by client’s preference and/or provider guidance.

All IVs are recommended 1-2 times per month unless determined by the provider.

Weight Loss

Why are labs required?

All clients are required to have initial labs to establish the client’s baseline and determine their general health. The lab orders may vary depending on the client’s history, request, and recommended treatment plan but can include the following:

  • Complete Blood Count

  • Comprehensive Metabolic Panel

  • Lipid Panel

  • Liver Studies

  • Hemoglobin A1C

  • Thyroid Stimulating Hormone

  • Vitamin D

  • Vitamin B12

  • And many more….

An EKG may also be ordered because there are some medications used in treatment that have cardiac effects and are contraindicated in clients with existing or unknown cardiac conditions.

We want to do our due diligence in ensuring we do not initiate treatment on clients without thoroughly investigating the cause of weight gain and/or difficulty with weight loss as well as avoid any client injury during treatment.

Is weight loss guaranteed?

Every client is different. Some clients may lose pounds, some may lose inches. Some clients may not respond to treatments in the same manner as another and may require adjustments in their treatment plan or trialing different treatment options. Also, once your weight loss journey with us has ended - if the client does not maintain adequate diet and exercise, weight gain can occur. For these reason, we cannot guarantee weight loss but we are dedicated to working with each client on an individualized level to meet the specific needs of every client.

Aesthetics

Is this “real” Botox?

The term “Botox” has become a household term, similar to Kleenex or Band-Aid, which are actually brands as well as the word we use to describe a product. Jeuveau is a comparable neurotoxin to the original “Botox” manufactured by Allergan. Jeuveau is manufactured by the company Evolus.

How does a neurotoxin work?

Neurotoxins - for our cosmetic purposes at Rejuvenate Muncie - are injected via a small needle into the facial muscle of the client’s area of concern. The neurotoxin works to temporarily prevent your nerves from instructing the muscles to flex. The goal is improve the appearance of lines.

How long does a neurotoxin last?

Neurotoxin results typically last 3-4 months, however every client is different. To receive the best possible results, we recommend that you receive the recommended dose of neurotoxin and follow the prescribed aftercare. Even with this, no result is promised as each individuals’ body responds differently and results can vary. Also remember, results do not last forever - we recommend a routine schedule to both prevent and maintain a wrinkle-free appearance.

What if I am not happy after my injections?

We allow 10-14 days for the full affect of Jeuveau to take place. After that time, if there are areas of movement that we can treat, you are offered a complimentary touch-up within 14-21 days of the initial appointment.

Are there any side effects?

The most common side effects include injection-site redness or swelling, headache, and eyelid drooping.

Lipodissolve

Does it help with weight loss?

No! If you are looking for a weight solution, please visit the Weight Loss page. This may reduce inches but should not be relied upon for significant weight loss.

Can I drink?

48 hours before and after your treatment, please avoid anything can result in thinner blood and increase the chance of bleeding - alcohol and ibuprofen/Motrin/Aleve.

Do I have to do 3 sessions?

Most patients require AT LEAST 3 sessions for the full, desired results. You may require more or less, however the price is set for 3 sessions. Any additional sessions can be added at a reduced price if necessary. If less than 3 sessions are required, you can apply the extra session(s) to another body area - refunds are not given.

What if I am not happy after my injections?

We allow 4-8 weeks for the full affect of Lipodissolve to take place. Many will need more than 1 session to achieve the desired effect.

Are there any side effects?

The most common side effects include injection-site redness or swelling.

Men’s Health

Is Testosterone Replacement used for athletic enhancement?

No. All patients approved for this treatment must be symptomatic of hypogonadism caused by low testosterone and/or have confirmatory lab findings to support treatment. This treatment is not indicated for performance or athletic enhancement, although patients who receive treatment often times report improvement in that area.

Is Men’s Health only Testosterone Replacement?

Not at all. Testosterone is the most commonly known hormone to be used in Men’s Health and treatment, however there are several treatment options and regimens used throughout practice and each plan is individualized for the client.

Women’s Health

What is women’s health?

Women’s health addresses several areas. The primary focus is hormones! Hormones play a role into so many areas of concern and these concerns are often undertreated and overlooked by traditional health care. There is stubborn weight that won’t go away regardless of treatments, gynecological issues that present throughout all times of adulthood, and sexual dysfunction that most are too embarrassed to speak on. This is a safe space for women to finally get the specialized care they need.

What type of treatments are available?

Following lab work and evaluation, treatments may be oral, herbal, or injectable medications; they can also be referrals to counselors and specific therapists to address special areas of concern. There are many specific fields of health care that many have not been aware of before now!

Areas commonly treated include thyroid optimization, pre/peri/post-menopause, low libido, poor adrenal function, and more!

Covid-19

What are your current Covid-19 policies?

We are currently following the recommendations of the CDC and local health officials in regards to Covid-19. We will not ask to verify you vaccination status in the clinic. For clients who have tested positive for Covid-19 in the past 10 days, have been exposed to Covid-19 in the past 10 days and have not yet tested negative, or are current experiencing Covid-19 symptoms (including new or worsening cough, sore throat, headache, fever, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, or shortness of breath), we ask that you refrain from entering the clinic and possibly postpone or reschedule your appointment.

Are masks required?

At this time, clients may wear a mask if more comfortable doing so. They are no longer required in the clinic.

Can any of your services HELP with Covid?

If you are suffering from any current infection such as Covid-19, Influenza, etc. , our Immunity infusion or Tri Immune Injection is perfect for adjunctive symptom relief. You may come to clinic, remain in your car, and receive this treatment from there. Any other services will need to be rescheduled until after your quarantine period (we prefer you wait the full 10 days because we do have other patients in the clinic) but we can provide some extra nutrients and an infusion for symptom relief. Following your quarantine, please schedule a follow up appointment, as another infusion and additional supplements would be beneficial to fully recover from the illness.
